Hey Everyone!

You may not know, but there are severe storms with heavy rain, wind, and lightning persisting all day today in the central Florida area. Unfortunately going to have to move our live broadcast of the DIS Unplugged to tomorrow Wednesday 11/26/14 at 12pm. Thats the plan for now. we'll keep you updated if anything changes. Thanks for understanding!

No worries, be safe guys. Thanks for the update Dustin

I'll watch an old episode to get my fix for the day, any suggestions from the crowd?

Wasn't even expecting a show this week since it's Thanksgiving. Very nice! :thumbsup2

Oh I know about these storms. My driveway was a pool this morning and I was soaked when I get to work late due to having to drive half the speed limit......

Yes, We are getting that weather in Tallahassee as well. Stay safe and we will see y'all tomorrow.

Be careful out there, guys!

Wishing you a happy and safe Thanksgiving!

well i'm happy to report that DD made it safely out of Orlando today!

just when she was supposed to head to the lobby to check out and board the magical express this morning, they got a call (one of the disney resort calls) that there was a tornado warning and they should stay in their room.

so she called the front desk to ask what to do.

they sent a golf cart over for them (through the torrential rain) and brought them over to the lobby (they were staying at POR)...
they made it to the lobby dry, their luggage not so dry..

they made it to the airport early enough that they switched to the earlier flight out (just to be sure to make it to their next flight in time)..

well....of course, their flight was ground stopped in orlando for a while but once they took off, all hell broke loose...
they hit such bad turbulence that people on board were screaming (including DD)....and the rest were upchucking (including DSIL)....
a fun flight apparently...
about half way through the flight things finally calmed down and the pilot came onto the intercom to apologize for the rough flight.

He said they'd had to fly around some very nasty weather (duh) and that it was the worst turbulence of his career (so i guess it really must have been rather impressive!!)

in any case, they made it. Now to wait around for the next flight - then 10 more hours of flying and home.

i hope everyone was safe today!! (i wonder how it was in the parks)

We were under tornado warnings for a big part of the day.

Fortunately, all we got was rain, thunder, lightning and one FREAKED OUT Yorkie.

oh yeah, we have one of those freaked out doggies....not a yorkie...a big cute cowardly lab!!! and no tornadoes, just thunder....and lightening of course, but it's the thunder that scares her to death.....
long before we know there's a storm coming, she's all scrunched up in the corner of Aaron's office....under the desk.....
you'd think after 9 years of thunderstorms she'd understand that nothing's going to happen to her..
poor thing!
