This Weekends new pin

Well it was rumoured and here it is in the specials section of Star Traders.

Is it just me or is this pin thing getting almost as costly as collecting them in real life?

Well, if you think about it the cost thing makes sense (to me at least ).

Less and less pins will be getting purchased if they keep raising the cost. This means that those pins will become more valuable (for those wanting to complete sets or just for sentimental reasons).
This helps them (VMK) with their views on promoting more trades (which is why they increased a lot of the costs at the end of Beta).

But those are just my ideas

I agree with MissBelle that that is why they increased the price but also I think they are looking at it the wrong way.

The higher the price the less you can afford to buy therefore cutting down the chance you will want to trade! Except again for a few characters who constantly have loads of credits to spend and can buy loads of pins but then they already have everything so why would they want to trade.

To increase trading I think they should make more new things available each week-end for a reasonable price.

I can not tell you how many times a day I am asked to trade my princess attire but since I could only afford to buy the shirt and the blouse use my yellow shoes that were 25 credits and was given the tiara I would not trade it for all the stuff in the kingdom!

I would like to see more than one thing offered at a time to give people a choice. It would make us have to choose which one is more important and make it harder for everyone to have everything.

People ask me , too! I have the whole princess outfit (shirt,skirt, shoes, and crown) and I have the mickey hat and ears. I like my mickey hat the most. I never wear my dress..... sometimes I wear the shirt with jeans (I love the princess shirt ) and the crown, but thats it. I just brought the whole outfit cause I knew after I saw people wearing it I would want it... and I thought it would go up... so i bought the whole thing....I WANT THE SPACE SUIT!

Holy Macoroni!!! Did I see that price right!!! These prices are outrageous although I assume they complete an entire set. The good thing is I can play fireworks for some time to earn those credits fairly quickly, the bad thing is I feel bad for those who cannot earn those credits so quickly. Thanks for the picture "The Wolf" look forward to purchasing once I come home tonight...

submarine pin = 250 credits

people mover pin = 500 credits

skyway pin = 1000 credits

lets just hope the next pin (i wonder what that could be) won't be 2000 credits

I ran into someone in the Castle Fireworks Lobby this morning sporting8, yes EIGHT! of these pins. They filled up her lanyard. Now THAT'S conspicuous consumption.



I was there to earn some of those 1000 credits back and had to click on her twice to believe it. 8000 credits?? Hope she gets some good trades for those. Her name had "jess" in it, but I can't remember the rest. Too focused on those pins.
