I went to Universal Studios today. They have a wonderful exhibit saluting the life of Lucille Ball, whom I absolutely love. I browsed the exhibit then wandered out. I wandered out into their Hollywood street. They have a Scwabs Pharamcy where they sell ice cream. I was across the street from there and I just happened to look that way and I had to do a doubl,e take becasue oh my gosh, there was 'lucille ball". I was freaked out lol. I am used to the Disney face charcters and streetmosphere actors..they are mostly fictional characters, but to see a character of a beloved actress who is no longer with us was a shock..lol I stood there and watched her for the longest time. I was able to get a good look at her face, and her face didnt look much like the real Lucy, but her clothing and mannerisms and make up and voice were very, very close. I still cant stop thinking about it lol

Sometimes she is with Desi. He looks amazingly like Desi Arnaz. I also love seeing Marilyn Monroe.

In a lot of the TV commercials for Orlando they show the Frankenstein monster walking around or sipping a drink in the pool. I really wish Universal would turn this guy and maybe some other Hollywood monsters loose in the park.The old monsters seem to be more fun than scary now a days.

Now that you mention it, there was a man dresed in a black suit near her. He did not say a word, if he was suppsoed to be Desi, he certainly didnt resemble him whatsoever..he looked more like Fred mertz!

No that was the "bodyguard". Marilyn has one too since they are celebrities and all. Desi speaks and looks "Cuban" and sounds Cuban. He looks like Desi in the later years--not the really young Ricky Ricardo when the show first started.

Picture sitting in an office taking a loan application thinking to youself "hey they look like Lucy, Desi or Marylin". You ask for their employment info and you discover the person sitting across from you IS Lucy, or Desi, or Marilyn. LOL

us too! At Christmas, DH wanted to make me another calendar with our family pix from vacation....only to realize there was not ONE SINGLE picture of the 3 of us together from last year's visit

Can ya tell how annoyed I was that I have it still burned in my brain now? There WILL be pictures of the 3 of us from this year...oh yes there will
