Hi! We are staying at the Boardwalk Villas for the first time (thanks to some very generous parents) this coming weekend, and being from Florida and being June we are always concerned about the rain... so, Flying Fish appears to be booked until later in the eveing (7:40 was the earliest we could get for 2 adults and a 1 year old)... so, my question is, does the Bellevue Lounge serve any decent food? Anywhere else that we're overlooking? We're trying not to get in the car for our quick weekend getaway... thank you in advance!!!

We absolutely love Spoodles, and always make a specific trip to the Boardwalk just to eat here. If you have not had it before I recomend trying it especially since it will be closing very soon. It is pretty basic in terms of food, but absolutelty wonderful. The shrimp linguini is amazing and our fav dish in all of WDW.

If you can possibly get into Spoodles I'd go for it. We're very disappointed that it will be closing before our August trip and regret that we didn't go there in April (our last trip). Flying Fish has excellent reviews and we are going there in August, but I'd still try for Spoodles.

Spoodles is good, but Flying Fish is excellent. The food and service are a few notches above Spoodles.

I don't remember the Bellevue Lounge serving food, but I could be wrong. There are plenty of other options on the Boardwalk though. ESPN Zone, Big River Grille, there is a small bakery/deli next to Spoodles, and a cart that sells burgers and fries, hot dogs, chicken fingers, etc. Not to mention all the restuarants at the Yacht & Beach Club, and Swan/Dolphin.

Agreeing with all points. I think the OP should not limit their options to just FF and Spoodles. Too many other places to eat that are very close by.
