We will be getting the DDP for our upcoming trip and it is our first time doing so. We will be staying 7 nights, so do we get 7 days worth of credits or 8?

It's based on NIGHTS, so 7 of each credit type.

The credits are good until midnight of your checkout date. You can definitely use them.
