This November - any chance??

We rented points from a DVC member. This weekend my husband had a bad accident and can't travel for at least a month. We had to cancel with less than 60 days and the points went into holding. They will expire on Nov 30th. What are my chances of getting a studio anywhere in November?

Points go into holding if you cancel the reservation 30 days or less. If you cancel 31 days or more out, they should just go into the UY. But if the owners have a Dec UY, they can't bank these points anymore and they must be used by Nov 30 or they expire.

That said, I don't think you have a good chance at all to make a reservation this late for November.

I would guess the week before Thanksgiving week is your best shot. I think (last year) F&W ended 2 Sunday's before Thanksgiving (So that Sunday night might not be possible) And then Thanksgiving week is very, very busy. (Too busy in the parks for me)

I just got a 1bedroom today for a spur of the moment trip during F&W. Call and ask, why not?

Last year I managed to get ressies for Jersey Week (Nov) at the end of July. It might not be easy, but you won't know unless you try.
