This morning I woke up to....

Yikes, once again another Hurricane staring us down in Eastern Central Florida. I had written Jeanne off since they said it would not bother FL at all. My puppies and cat where supposed to return home saturday from boarding at my future in-laws, I called them this morning and told them to put that on hold. Geesh when can we get a break this season has been terrible.

Maybe if I go back to bed, and get up later, it will have all been a bad dream?

LMAO, I thought the same thing. I actually was woken up to the TV this morning. I was sound asleep and for some reason I rolled over and the news (I left the TV on) caught my eye. I'm thinking everytime I go to sleep and wake up something changes of course sometimes for the good and sometimes for the worse so I'm not sure what to do.
Same thing happened with Frances, I went to sleep and woke up to see it coming straight for us with little time to prepare.
Enough is enough!

I am not really familiar with FL and where WDW is located. MIL is leaving Friday morning for the World until next Thursday.....do you think WDW will be affected???

Yes, the eye will be passing very close to the WDW/Orlando area on Sunday night with this projected path. WDW area will feel tropical force winds starting very late saturday night. All of this is going on the assumption that it takes the projected path, but they have said it will take a MAJOR change to spare our area (Brevard) and the Orlando/Central Fl area.

Although I have heard that during the last two hurricanes (Charley and Frances) WDW never lost power, no damage other than minor plant/tree damage so I would think she would be safe. However flights may or may not be cancelled, etc.

Thanks for the info. I hope everything will be ok with her and everyone else in it's path. I will just have to keep watching the news and watching the track.
