This Might Be A Crazy Question About Hhn

Hi, I Know This Sounds Crazy But I Get Very Jumpy At Haunted Houses And Scream Alot Cause I Panic. I Think They Are Great Fun And Laugh At My Own Reactions. I Am Getting A Little Frightened Just Reading About The Houses. The Characters Do Not Touch You Do They? Do They Just Jump At You And Scare You? I Am Going Opening Night So I Have To Relie On Someone Who Has Been There In The Past As To What I Might Want To Avoid. Any Advice Would Be Greatly Appreciated

We have gone the past 5 years. Very very scary (but fun scary) They are not allowed to touch you. Just go and have a great time, and you can do what I do if you get too scared, close your eyes and hang onto the person your with.....LOL

I'm the biggest chicken there is and I love HHN and have been going for many years. Your best bet is to ignore the message boards and descriptions about the houses, it will just psyche you out.

The houses are scary but not so much that you don't know it's pretend scary and the length of the houses is long enough to enjoy but short enough to know it's over soon

My wife gets scared when the phone rings...so you can just imagine how she was when we went last year to HHN. She survived though and had a great time. We are going again this year on 10-30 and 10-31. You should be alright.

The characters didn't scare me that much last year, just the ones that I thought were statues that suddenly jumped out at me. The thing that scared, or should I say bothered me the most was being in such a close, confined space next to a whole lot of drunk people (the guests, not the employees).

I am very jumpy at things like this as well (but love love love horror movies). Last year was our first time at HHN and I will admit that I jumped A LOT! It was just my husband and I and he absolutely refused to let me hold on to him, he said I had paid to be scared so bring the scares on! This year we are going with some friends so hopefully I can hang on to one of them Just try to remember that it is not real and all in good fun. You will have a good time. Also, try not to look frightened. They hardly jumped at my husband at all, but they came at me from everywhere and I really believed it was because they could tell I was easily spooked. Have fun and post your experience when you get back.

ha ha, your note reminds me of my first time going through one of the houses back in 2000. a lady behind me just about tore my shirt off grabbing me while I was trying to catch up with my daughter who was getting way ahead of me. I kept yelling at her to let go and she just kept on grabbing and screaming now, I have learned to take earplugs to protect my ears from the screamers and if I can find a way to keep people from touching me I'll have it made. have fun! p.s. if you don't run from the chainsaw guys, they wont chase you!
