Okay, so DH and I are returning to WDW for the 3rd September-We celebrate our anniversary-and this year we will be married for 27 years :)

We have 3 grandchildren ages 2, 1, and 9 mos. So, we know our adults only trips are about to come to a close since we want to start taking our grandchildren with us to WDW. This will hopefully start Christmas 2015.

You all know the expense in WDW trips and DH wants to gift the trip every Christmas starting this year for our 4 children and their spouse and our grandchildren. So this is much more expensive than just our trips and I don't think there will be much room in the budget to add our September trip into the mix anymore. That is okay with me because I will still get to visit yearly.

Anyway, I have tentative plans for our 8day/7 night trip in September as follows:

Cirque (I have seen it 3 time and DH once, but we love the show)
Disney Quest (He loves DQ. It brings back the 80s)
Hopefully trying the Water Parks -we upgraded our tickets from PH to include them
Hoop Dee Doo (Corny Humor and Beer = one happy husband)
Sanaa
1900 Park Fare (this Queen loves her Princessess)
Biergarten-never tried it but it sounds like fun
Ohana-same as above (dinner)
Mama Melrose (for Fantasmic! package)
Be our Guest -lunch
MNSSHP and hopefully Villain Soiree (we loved it last year!!)

We normally stay at POFQ but I changed it to Caribbean Beach since that is where my brother and his DW are staying and we plan on having dinner together at least once. (haven't told the hubby yet-he will get the surprise when we pull up on ME bus-also didn't tell him I added a day to our package-another surprise)

So my plea to you is help decide if these choices are good or do ya'll have a must do for adults at WDW? This is my 6th trip and his 3rd, so we have done a few things but there is so much to do and so little time !!!

Suggestions = welcome and appreciated

TIA

Also is my ticker a picture of the Caribbean Beach Resort? I wasn't sure.

It sounds like fun!

If you're into the cuisine, you might want to try La Hacienda de San Angel in Epcot. Our favorite on the menu is a seafood based dinner for two that you share. Lots of food and really good. If you're not into seafood, there's a beef based version as well.

If you're looking to do something a little different away from the park, go to the Fantasia Gardens mini golf course just outside the Swan/Dolphin. There's two courses there...one a typical course you may take your grandchildren too in a few years. The other is a real grass course that can be quite difficult, thus frustrating for kids. Its an interesting challenge...

I have eaten at La Hacienda with DD before and the food, Margaritas, and view of Illuminations was great !! Thanks for reminding me about it :)

I have wanted to try the mini golf since we get a voucher for a free round. DH just hasn't been into it. Are they outside or indoors? It is very rainy in September so a few indoor activities other than the obvious ;) of course- would be great.

The mini golf courses are all outdoor.

If you're looking for indoor, you could try bowling at Splitsville.

If you haven't gone to Jelly Rolls yet, now may be that time!

I love going to DD & Raglan Road after the parks at night to enjoy the outdoor bands they have on the patio, awesome food & beer selection!

Also, I've heard great things about making an ADR for the new Spice Road Table in Morocco around 8ish to sit outside & get a great view of Illuminations. I will be there this coming week so I will report back!

Awesome choices! It looks like you'll have a great time!

A couple of restaurants that I always recommend to friends are Kona Cafe for lunch at the Polynesian and Boma at AKL. We love to go to Kona for lunch on a MK day. It's a quick monorail ride today and a really great lunch! We just like the break in the day from the crowds. Boma at AKL is a really great buffet. It's like Tusker House on steroids (just without characters).

Have fun!
