This Makes Me So Sad...

I admit it. I've been a fan of Paul McCartney since I was ten years old. It just makes me so mad to see him dragged through the mud this way.

Heather Mills McCartney is now claiming that Paul physically abused her during their marriage. I just can't believe that. No, I don't know him, but it is just so out of character for this man.

She claims he attacked her repeatedly while she was pregnant, prevented her from breast feeding and wouldn't allow her to have an operation she needed. What?

I do try to give people the benefit of the doubt. Anyone can have a side to them that most people don't know, but I just can't buy this.

Am I the only one who feels this way?

Well right, if he was a wife abuser his first wife would not have been married to him for all of those years, they still would have been married if she hadn't died.
What makes people say such awful stuff? Whats worst is they have a child together that will be caught in the middle.

Exactly! He deserves a woman who will love him for who he is, not his money. He had that with Linda. I was so happy for him when he married Heather. I wanted him to be happy. Now, what a mess.

Actually, he deserves someone like me! I'd take him in a second. He should give all of his money to charity and come be with me!

I have a really hard time believing that. She's making herself look desperate and needy.

Right from the beginning I couldn't stand Heather, she looked like such a "cold fish" and quite honestly I have always felt she was a little unbalanced, after seeing her in several different interviews it was always about "me". And why would this all be coming out now? I think she is grasping at straws for a few more million! I don't believe that Paul could ever be that way, Linda would never have stood for anything like that, why would it start now? Heather go step on a landmine!

I always thought she had a screw loose from day one. I kinda figured it would end this way. I feel sorry for Paul, but I hope this taught him a lesson. He didn't wait long enough to really get to know her before he took the plunge.

I agree with you completely. There is no way I could ever believe he would do something like this. He is too much of a gentle soul. I think this will come back to haunt her in a big way (at least I hope so).

pushed it to the loony part for me, especially with her (lawyers)
playin' up her leg situation. I think they (lawyers) are tryin' to
push this to the limit of extortion, thinkin' he'll pay her to shut the

Yeah, I don't believe it for a second. She's a nutcase. I knew from the beginning that he shouldn't have married her. He should have listened to his kids. But I think, especially with his successful first marriage, that he's just the kind of guy who needs to be married. He was still grieving Linda (and I'm sure still is), and he didn't look carefully enough at Heather.

I've been a Beatle fan (esp. Paul) for 20 years, since I was 12. Since he's been married to Heather, I've kind of drifted away, because it's been so sad, that he's been taken this way. But I'm so relieved that he's divorcing her! It'll be so great when it's all over! I hope he can get full custody of Beatrice, because he's such a great dad and she's so crazy, but that probably won't happen. But hopefully he'll at least get joint. It's so sad that she's in the middle of this, though. Poor little thing.

And I always thought I was too young for him, and then he goes and marries someone only about 5 years older than me! Marry me, Paul!

I feel badly that at his age he is going thru something so stressful. he must be kicking himself over no prenup now when he now sees her true colors...too bad there is a small child in this mix.
i remember reading that when he and linda were married they never spent one day apart! to go from something like that to this nightmare must be awful.
