This just sucks....

I need P and PD for DH and for the family of a friend of DH's. DH went into work this morning, only to be pulled aside by a co-worker to be told that another coworker they'd both worked with for a long,long time and knew pretty well had commited suicide early this morning.

We're not sure when the funeral is just yet, but DH's boss (who also worked with the deceased)promised to call him and let him know as soon as the family knew when it would be.

I feel so sorry for DH. I know he's hurt and confused and very upset about why his friend commited suicide. Nobody will ever know the truth, unfortunately.

Thanks guys..DH really needs it. He was talking on the phone this morning to someone else who knew the deceased and he ended up bawling as they rehashed memories of working with him,hanging out with him at work parties, etc.

We'll probably find out when the funeral is today or tomorrow. I don't care WHEN it is...I'm taking off work to be with DH. I'm going to lie to my boss and tell him it was MY friend that died so I can go. DH has sat with me through several funerals that I've had to go to in the past for family members and now it's my turn to do the same for him.
