This just in....

Just another in the myriad of rumors about where DCL will go next. :)

Oh, I agree. I just kind of hope this one stays a rumor.

Gee - That would explain why we still can't book beyond April 2004. LOL. I hope it's only a rumor, but maybe they're thinking Euro-Disney needs some cruises.

I think they'll open up more of 2004 in November; they tend to go about 18 months out at a time.

I would think Europe would be far down on the list for the next deployment of a DCL ship. My bet is on the West Coast, with an Alaska/Mexico itinerary, based on season.

But I'm just speculating like everyone else is. :)

Hi there,

Just had to chime in on this one and fuel the rumor mill a bit more. We sailed on 8/17 & 8/24 and happened to make friends with Captain Tom's stepson. Sounds crazy but he said that Disney would start a European route in the Mediterranean cruise in 2004. Doesn't really make any sense to me, but that is what Cap. Tom had told him. Who knows....We just booked again for back-back next August. Already counting down!:bounce: :teeth:

Hmmmm, we had planned to do the Mexican Riviera next summer as the Grandeur of the Seas leaves right here from San Diego! However, our plans were shot down as RCL and Princess announced they will not be cruising the Mexican Riviera during the summer of 2003. Instead they'll be moving to the Mediterranean!

This is also a great rumor for those of us not based in Europe but desperately want to return for a visit!! ;)

Well, if Captain Tom said it, I would no longer consider it just a rumor. And although DCL does seem to open their bookings about 18 months out, it appears to have been stuck on April 2004 for awhile now. Just my random opinion here, but I now believe they WILL do Europe in 2004! :earsgirl:
