New information about FP+ "As expected, most of our guests think that securing times to ride our attractions is one of the best ways to maximize the fun of a Walt Disney World Resort vacation. We’ve heard from a number of guests that they would like the opportunity to add additional FastPass+ entitlements during their visit, in addition to the three they can plan in advance. So, we’re working on providing them with the ability to add and enjoy additional entitlements on the day of their visit. Once they’ve used the three they’ve booked, we’ll enable them to select another at kiosks in the parks. And once they’ve used the fourth, they can select another, and so on. We also heard that other guests liked the fact that with the FastPass+ service they could use FASTPASS when they park hopped. So we’re working on a service enhancement to add that feature to FastPass+ as well."

I guess I don't understand why this is good news...if you have to wait until you use your 3 fast passes, then most of the fast passes will already be gone.

Or otherwise then you have to schedule all your fast passes first thing in the morning, which will kind of ruin the idea of getting there early for rope drop to get on rides w/out waiting.

If they are going to do something, then let it be more scheduled fast passes, or being able to schedule 3 (each) in two parks on same day!

Great news, although I would hope the ability to add extra FP+ would also be included in a future app release, so that we can add "on the go" without needing to walk to a kiosk.

Sounds mostly good to me, although I would prefer to be able to get the additional FP+ by app rather than kiosk.

Can you imagine what the kiosk lines will be like, especially in the evenings? I can see people standing in line 45 minutes only to find out the only available FP+ available is for Captain EO!

Personally, I would much rather see them eliminate the tiers or allow us to book FP+ at different parks in the same day, even if we are still limited to 3.

Personally, I can't wrap my head around wasting FP+ on rides like Journey Into Imagination, and not be able to ride Soarin' on the same day because the standby line is 2+ hours long!

I wonder what the time table is for this to happen. This will definitely alter touring strategy for our late May trip as I have most of our FP selections for late afternoon/eve. The positive news is that they are listening to feedback and adjusting the system.

Me too! I would definitely want to use a FP for Soarin, but I hate the thought of essentially wasting 2 other fastpasses.

This is interesting. I suppose now the wisdom will be to not save your 3 FPs until evening and to use them earlier in the day so you can get another. I wonder how soon this will go into effect.

While this is certainly good news, I wish they were more forthcoming in regards to timing and details on park hopping.
