This room is on right now. Whether it is real or not.... I just am shocked to see this on vmk. I did not go in the room, but I thought real life is not to be really talked about on vmk. If true, my heart goes out to the person...but I just don't think vmk is the place for it!

I saw that earlier, and it said the sister was there in the room. Which was even more bizarre.

If it's real, then I feel for her. But I really can't help suspecting that it's an attention thing.

ok I went in to check it out. He is telling everyone is 11 years old sister was shot by her friend in the house. He heard the shot and saw the friend with a gun and his sister dead. He through a vase at her head. Someone asked why not in the news. He said he does not live near you. He said it happened yesterday.

so that is what is happening in the room. There is no trading going on. So have no clue if it is true. But feel sad if it is and sad if it isn't because this person needs attention either way.

Wow what a tough one. In my opinion a staff should probably come talk to the person and maybe spend some time listening then talking about how this is personal information and maybe help them understand the need to talk to a real person near them not in game. The room should be cleared out and let the staff member talk one on one with the person for how ever long this person needs to talk. Im not sure VMK staff are eqquipped to do this though and at what point does showing you "care" cross a line in the personal information realm. Maybe the person has a friend who reads boards like this and the friend can urge them to talk to a real family member.

lol yea vmk is not really the place for that even tho that is really sad but any way really that should be on vmk. especially if it is her real sister, and if it not if it is on of those weird brother and sister things ppl do on vmk uh... just dont do that, that is all i am saying lol

As nice as that sounds, I'm afraid, true situation or not, it would be shared with anyone who can read that they had "personal" time with staff. You can just imagine the snowball turning into an avalanche. Perhaps a quick pop in to say they are sorry for his loss but the discussion is not appropriate for vmk and the room needs to close...please go talk with your parents or real friends.

I spent all day on vmk when my grandma died last year but I never made a room about it or I didn't even tell alot of people maybe a couple. It's that with 2 sad parents, 2 sad brothers and all my family away. There was nobody.

This room was up again today... I went in to report it and found another person doing the same thing, they said it was shut down by staff the first day it was open and I think it might have been shut down today as well. I got a surprisingly quick response from staff saying "Thank you for reporting this incident," maybe they are getting a lot of reports on this person LOL.
