The Choose your Destiny isn't right at all. We all get 1 of the items. That is fine. We can't trade them.

So anyone that isn't playing TODAY will not be able to have the purple shirt and a lot of people want purple.

They didn't give us any notice either so anyone that does not play every day is really missing out.

I don't think that it is right at all. The items we get should be tradeable.

I know what you mean. I had to call my sister at Disneyworld of all places to get their ids, so I could play for them. But, then again I figured with all of the cards they are bringing back, I better put in a little work here.
I'm just glad one of us was here to do it, though!

I predict that the costume will eventually be tradeable. I think they are just trying to limit the scamming that can go on when something is new.

I would suggest that you collect as many costumes as you are able to, and then just wait until they are tradeable.

(By the way, there is a host room with no line at all right now, so no worries about mules not letting others in)

Yes, I just finished getting the last clone on! Whew, that was a lot of work.
Now I just have to start all over tomorrow and hope I am finished by the time the Cauldron Game starts.

I think they're doing this because lots of people "abused" the privilage of coming in last time and getting free things by going in line and coming back. That held up the wait for people to get in and not alot of people were allowed to get more than one.

By this I mean the event: where we got the snow rugs and ice cubes and straight train rail. They have a point but still, it takes the fun of getting alot and then trading them for something better! LOL

I don't think that it is right at all. The items we get should be tradeable.

And:

Purple is not a popular color. That is probaly why VMK did the purple hero costume in this event.

Costumes are ussually worn by a player for 3 or 4 days before they get tired of them and sell them for credits.

HAVE YOU SEEN HOW MANY PEEPS ARE WEARING THIER TOPS? IT IS GOING TO BE AN EXTREMLEY POPULAR COSTUME THAT PEOPLE WILL DISCARD!!

Apparently I am in the minority. I like the way VMK did this. For once my whole family was able to particpate in an event -- without getting disconnected umpteen times and waiting in line for hours.

As much as we (my family) all love VMK we do have lives and the way it was done in the past didn't work out well for us. I didn't complain about it not being fair though. That's just life.

There are so many other things to get worked up over. I just don't think this is one of them.

If VMK gave some notice that makes better sense but how many people have things to do on a weekend and without any notice that seems a little harsh.

What about the people that are in Disney right now, they miss out?

I also disagree that purple isn't a popular color with girls in the target age for VMK purple is most definately a favorite color.

It is all virtual but we all like to have all of the costumes. I am SO glad that I saw the notice. I wasn't going to be able to play VMK for long this evening. My plans cancelled which allowed me to play but if they didn't and I missed it I would have been upset.

one of the staff said the masks will be buyable later!

Maybe the purple costume will be for sale at some point and this was just a way for a large portion of players to get it for free.

Lets just say that little men in office cubicles have created a game that we are nuts about. They plan an event in the game. Now we are complaining. The only reason why we are complaing is because this game is part of our everyday lives.

We are addicted to a game created and maybe even staffed, by those little men.

Take the VMK challenge. For 1 day when a big event is going on, do not go to the computer. You can do anything but play VMK.

Becuase this game is part of our everyday lives.

People, it's just a game.
