I just checked my bank account online and we got our Economic Stimulus payment today!! Looks like we might be able to take that fall trip after all

That's where ours is going!!! Ours is scheduled to be direct deposited into our bank account this Friday, but we should see it before then since they got a head start! That'll knock out almost all of our balance!!!

Thanks to the US govt we are planning a trip for this fall . Although what started out as a trip done cheaply somehow keeps getting more expensive.

Just go irs.gov and there is a box with info on when you get it. It goes by the last two # in your ss.
My $ will definitely go towards our trip. I wonder, how do you know that you qualify...I don't want to be waiting for nothing!

You can find this out also on irs.gov. There's a link for the Economic Stimulus credit (or something like that) and you can go through a questionaire which will then tell you what amount of refund you should expect. You have to have your 2007 1040 to fill out the questions.

I just checked and ours posted today!!! We leave in 15 days for a last minute 5th Bday trip for DS and this was the prompting to book it!! I just got my Disney Visa bill with the trip balance that is due right before we leave and now I don't have to "advance" myself the funds to pay for it!!
