THIS Is Why I joined VMK.

Basically I'd like to congradulate all those who participated in the Blackheart Quest and beat it. Unfortunatly I was not one of those lucky few and at first I just about had it with the planning of VMK and their system of prizes. Until I came on today to find that not only had they released a prize from the difficult quest but also gave us a chance to do something I had been hoping for from August 2005. I love to see it when VMK creates things that resemble the real park and when the first two rides came out ALD and PP I was thrilled! Now we have a chance to build our very own main street room! Including an item called "Main Street Lamp Post". Now you may thinking what is Disniplaya out of his mind? What is so great about a lamp post? Because VMK was built based on the park and we have a chance to recreate the place we love and experience it every day. Stepping into that Refreshment room is like walking into Casey's Corner or the Ice Cream parlor. It's just simply amazing and I really want to thank VMK for this great addition to the game and I spent about 15 minutes just sitting here listening to the audio of that room, may i be completly bananas? Sure but im a disney lover at heart.

On a side note I'm really proud to see that not only are disers but players giving away those sought after dream ears. Sure i had a pair but id rather have players giving them away then trading them. I'm very impressed with the VMK community.

I totally agree with you about the great items that VMK released today! They are so cool! I, like you laxplaya, did not complete the Blackheart Quest. After initially feeling very disappointed and left out and maybe a little envious of all the others that got the great prizes, I really stepped back and thought about what a great time I have had these last 2 1/2 yrs playing VMK. Host Phinny told me a long time ago to never title anything "rare" in VMK, and she has been right so far. So there is always hope for those of us who did not complete the quest and who are hoping for other items that we missed.

Please people quit putting your new water fountains next to your new trash cans! yuck!

I MUST AGREE!!!! the things that came out today have to be some of my favorite items...and i'm so happy with VMK lately when it comes to releasing items...it really seems like they're coming out with some great items, items that i actually want, and have use for, and seem to have some thought put behind them. so yay VMK!!!

I really agree with this part. I love seeing players give the prizes away as opposed to putting them up for trade for such high prices. It's very generous for those to share their TDM prizes with those who couldn't do the quest. Yesterday I had two people offer to gift me the yellow flying saucer chairs since I only got one from single-use TDM. They could have taken me up on my credit offer, but they didn't. Then the player I met up with ended up giving me a handful of them instead of just the one I was looking for! That definitely felt like Disney magic to me.

So on top of the wonderful Disney park items, we've got a lot of great players on DIS willing to spread the Disney magic. Those things combined really remind me of the parks!

These new Park Items and Room, which I love too, makes me want to plan another trip to WDW as soon as possible! Ok, ok....I love hearing the sounds in the new room as well, so if you are completly bananas...there's more of us so not to worry!
