:sunny:......btw, we are a family of 5.

Since you've never stayed in one of the Epcot resorts that's where I would suggest for your next trip ~~ Boardwalk Inn / Villas, Beach Club / BC Villas, or the Yacht Club. Also, the Dolphin and Swan are in that area.

We have stayed at the BC / YC and the BWI and really like all of them and LOVE the location. You just can't beat walking or taking one of the boats to Epcot and MGM. When you enter Epcot from the BW area, you go through the International gate and by-pass the crowds at the front of the park. Some of the BC rooms and the BWI rooms also have a nice view of the fireworks from Epcot at night.

There are also good restaurants in the area. Beaches and Cream at the BC is fun and the Boardwalk Bakery is a great little place for coffee and a pastry in the mornings.

We have stayed at many WDW resorts but now always stay at one of the Epcot resorts. Last trip we tried the AKL and enjoyed the atmosphere there, but split our trip between there and the BWI.

Hello,

I'd second the Epcot area resorts too. I've stayed at both BW & BC, and loved them both. One word of caution, if you get a standard view room at BC, there are some that have a really terrible view, and are smaller than other rooms.

Hope that helps,

Take care,

Bill

Your list looks alot like ours with AKL and Poly tied for #1 and WL #2. I would also suggest an Epcot resort as your next choice just to see if you like the area. The only one we have stayed at is the BC but we have visited all three. I would give it a LIKE rating, but only because of the location. We loved being able to walk to and from Epcot in the evenings for dinner. I thought the room was very small for the price and felt like I was in a downtown area rather than a quiet resort. We really like both the grounds and the relaxed atmosphere of the AKL, Poly, and WL.

The Boardwalk gets my vote! :)

Try the Beach Club. You'll love it! Why do we? You can walk to Epcot (or MGM in 10-15 min) it has the BEST pool on property, Beaches and Cream, it's peaceful in the middle of the action, I could go on and on. We've stayed at many disney resorts, and the BC is our favorite.

Thank you! You are all so helpful! :flower: I guess we should try the Epcot side since that is not on our list yet......now, to decide which one :sunny: :sunny:

To me, once I've found the resort I love there is no way I'm going somewhere else! The Poly is our resort and I wouldn't want to try another place.

Just back form the YC and we were very impressed. Nice sized room, comp upgrade to full lagoon view. Watched Illuminations from our balcony the first night. Just the fireworks but hey, didn't have to fight the crowds. very peaceful setting, no screaming kids in the hallways, unlike our Poly experience. Saw a lot of terrible toddler meltdowns at the Beach Club though. Think it has something to do with character meals :sad2: A little too much sensory overload. My two girls looked like such angels at mealtime after seeing some of these monsters! We also love the GF, WL and CR. THe Poly is lovely we just had a few noise issues. I'd definitely request a quiet location next time.

we've stayed at All Star Music, Caribbean Beach and PO/FQ
Also have stayed at Wilderness Lodge and VWL

have never stayed at an EpCot resort - will do that in August after our 1st time at Pop and a return to Wilderness Lodge

enjoy th eswan/dolphin for the weekend then rent DVC points for 40r 5 days
at BWV OR BCV for the week this works out great.

We are looking for some more feedback on the BC or the YC. We are considering tryng something different thatn the Poly, and I like hearing about the experiences of others.

Thanks.

Another vote for Beach Club, and make sure you go into Beaches and Cream and order a "Kitchen Sink"!
