Hi,

This is what I just ordered for my Grandpa and his wife. It's hard to know what would be a good gift to send them since I'm in Illinois and they are in Arizona. My parents thought flowers would be nice, so I am having them deliverd Friday. What do you all think????

Oooohhhhhhh............so pretty!
Good job! Great gift

Just remember...when you order from an Internet source, they might receve the flowers wrapped in paper, wih a vase that they have to arrange the flowers themselves-read the fine print
An arrangement like that from a florist would cost $40-60 plus delivery.

They are lovely! What a wonderful centerpiece it will make. Or else, I love to put fresh flowers on top of my china closet. They just look nice there :) I am sure they will find a good place for them.

Great gift!

I paid $29.99, plus $11.99 for delivery by Friday 12/16 by ProFlowers.com. They will have to arrange the flowers themselves, but I figure this gives them the freedom to arrange them however they want.

Thanks everyone. I'm glad that I made a good choice. They looked really nice and I couldn't beat the price or the quick delivery. This gives them something to have now Christmas wise, until they open up there other gifts from people Christmas day.

They'll be very pleased! Beautiful flowers! :goodvibes

I think they are beautiful!

We had the same problem finding a gift for my grandparents until a few years ago when we stumbled upon the idea of sending them a heavenly ham. They said they liked it a lot so we did it a couple of times in a row and then picked a different gift for them one year. In a very nice way they managed to let us know that although they liked the new gift they'd much rather have the ham. So that's what we've done every year since. Whew! It's good not to have to hunt around for something and to know that they really like what we are sending.

I think you've made an excellent choice.

A few months ago I ordered from ProFlowers - one bouquet for my grandma who lives in Hawaii and one for myself. The bouquet came in a box and I thought it was a great buy, especially being packaged well and that there were mostly buds so it lasted really long.

Yup, you made an excellent choice. :)

Thanks for the feedback. I just got an email from proflowers saying that the flowers have been picked up by UPS and are on the way for Friday's delivery as scheduled.

I've used ProFlowers several times and never been disappointed. My mom doesn't care if she had to put the flowers in the vase--she's thrilled to get them.

I think you made a really nice choice.
My mom is really picky, and never hestitates to let the local florist know when the flowers aren't the freshest. Since I've been using Pro-flowers she has nothing but rave reviews. They send fresh, beautiful flowers that last a really long time.

Does anyone know how the "secret" discount code works? I tried to use the code that was attached to my email receipt from Thanksgiving for an order to someone else for Christmas and it wouldn't work. I would have loved the extra $10 discount.

The subject line of my confirmation email says
Your Proflowers.com order and Secret $10 Savings (CODE)
The code is the same as my order number. It doesn't say anything anywhere else about how to use it. Confusing!

Those are beautiful!!! They will certainly love them!
