This is what I get for procrastinating

I bought my coral pink ds lite at best buy before Thanksgiving. The sales clerk was laughing at me when I said I was worried they would sell out. I returned it right after Thanksgiving when I got the same one at Limitedtoo for $10 cheaper. I did keep brain age which I got at Best Buy for $15. I honestly didn't expect it to be so hard to get now when two weeks ago I saw the pink one all over the place since I kept looking for a better deal. I'm glad I got one when I did.

I have a 7 year old DD and I feel your pain. I couldn't find one to save my life. I looked everywhere they were sold out. So I just went ahead and ordered the white one to be safe that she ended up with one.

It was the only gift she asked Santa for (yes she still believes). But I got lucky and she forgot to tell him that is was to be pink. So I am going to have Santa write a note saying he wasn't sure if she was a Pink kind of girl or not so he played it safe and got the white one. Hope she still likes it.

Also I figure I can always take the white one back if I do come acorss a pink one before Christmas.

I just had a brainstorm last week to get my daughter a pink Nintendo DS Lite for Christmas. I went shopping yesterday. All the stores are sold out. I went online today. All sold out.

Some places only have white. It needs to be pink. Anyone with a 5 year old daughter would understand why.

I always knew my procrastinating tendencies would come back to haunt me someday.

DD7's birthday is January 6th, and this is all she wants. We didn't think of it as being a hot ticket Christmas item, but for some reason DH got online Thanksgiving weekend and realized that it was out of stock virtually everywhere. We ended up ordering one from buy.com (which is still on order) and thankfully found one in stock at our local Game Stop.

I so feel your pain. It's pink or nothing around here. Good luck in your quest!

Try your local Limited Too!. They carry the pink DS lites. Also look at Gamestop and EB games.

We weren't planning on spending that much on him for Christmas because he has his China trip coming up. We can't find anything else for him so we decided to get the legos and they are all sold out! Oh, well, back to square one.

That is a PROJECT! My ds 12 got this 2 years ago - when it first came out... I think it took him 2 months to get it built!

DS4 wants a DS too so I went to Best Buy's web site. But I gotta talk to DH. I'm kind of so-so on spending that much on one gift for our 4 year old. He already has Daddy's Game Boy Advanced as a hand-me-down and loves it.

I finished my Christmas shopping several weeks ago, and then took the kids to see Santa. I heard what Emily asked for, and then Hannah whispered something into Santa's ear. Guess what I will be shopping for some time in the next two weeks - a remote control car.
