My husband said "You will have to wait 5 years till we go to Disney again"

I really want to stay there for our 20th wedding anniversary.... How do I convince him?:confused3

Lol, this is coming from a husband. You WON'T convince him. He may ultimately decide to give in and let you have it your way out of , but he won't be convinced to change his mind.

Join the DVC! Then you HAVE to go or he loses money. :goodvibes

Otherwise...it is really inexpensive to stay at the Value Resorts. Specially if they are offering free dining.

Go without. Say it's a Ladies only Meet and he can't go anyhow. That will change his tune .

My husand said at the end of our honeymoon in hawaii in september 2006 it was the last trip for a while. Ya right We are going to disney 8/31 to 9/9 for our 1st anniversary:banana:

I love it!!!:lmao: :lmao: You don't even have to change his tune.....go without him. Really.... go with friends or other relatives! Mine has gone a grand total of 1 time! :rotfl: I've gone with good friends, but mostly with other members of my family. It works for us!:)

goodness me... sorry didnt mean to offend anyone! sorry... it was just suppose to be a joke... like ha ha funny. Sorry again.

Jai

Ok, coming from a mans point. Maybe he is going to surprise you with a trip. I have done that with other things not trips. I told my girlfriend that I wasn't going to spend $60 on roses for her on Valentines day, but I went and bought her roses anyway. That way she would be surprised. Just a suggestion :confused3.. I know what you are thinking "Right he wouldn't do that." :lmao:

cant you just knock him over the head and when he comes too just tell him "if you dont want that to happen again, you better take me to see the mouse again" and if he doesnt'... him over the head again.. just keep doing this till he agreeds and then book.

i mean.. it works for me... well it's worth a try? :confused3

jai

oh and i find a pillow with a book inside of it works good.

We wouldn't want her arrested before she can go to disney again.....

Did he say why? It could be a money thing, maybe he wants to clear up some debt, make a really large purchase, etc, etc. It was really hard for me some times to except the fact that real life some times intrudes. Some times my dh just wants to try some thing different, after going to disney year after year. Ask him the reason first.

I have never met a woman who couldn't get her own way ;)
Tell him there won't be a 20th wedding anniversary if he doesn't take you :rotfl: :rotfl:

let me know if you find the answer. My husband told me I had to wait 10 years!!! who is he kidding! :rotfl2:

You know him better than we do. Figure it out yourself. Use logic, or sentiment or something else.

Also why 5 yrs?

aaahhhhhhh go without him!! I took my younger son this past december for a short 4 day trip and had a blast without the hubby!!!!

Divorce him and marry someone else and take a honeymoon to Disney!!

Also, please don't mention spousal abuse or harming someone in a public forum. If you commit such a thing, then this is evidence. Would hate to see you convicted due to "pre-meditation" and then when would you go to Disney???? LOL!!
