Before I begin, I thought I should let those of you who didn't follow the PTR that Terry's camera has a name... Bertha... So now you know who I am talking about...
November 28th... Departure Day...
FINALLY!!! The day I had been waiting for was here!!!
I got up at 2:30am, got showered and ready for the day... We left the house about 3:00, arrived at the airport by 4:15... Security was easy enough and we made it to our gate in plenty of time...
I was kinda hungry at this point so Terry ventured off to get us some breakfast. He returned with a nice meal of eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, and biscuits, along with a bowl of fruit...
We flew American and our flight left at 6am... We chose the side of the plan that had just 2 seats, so no strangers were by us... We tried to sleep most of the way to Dallas/Ft Worth, but we did manage to snap a few pics along the way...
We had a very short layover in DFW, and I only have one thing to say about our time there... It smells like motor oil... And the gift shop had no shot glasses...
We landed at MCO about 3:40, a few minutes early... We hustled to ME and were on the road by 4... And we were checked in and in our room by about 5...
We had requested a King bed, but received 2 queens, asked nicely if we could move, and were given a new room the next day!
After ditching our belongings, we headed off to Epcot!! Bee lined for Test Track... We wanted to ride something on our first night and this was it, after we rode, we headed to the Monorail and transferred at the TTC to the resorts monorail... We had time so we passed the Poly and got off at the Grand Floridian...
Now we didn't take Bertha...

I know, I know... I now regret it... Terry grabbed our little waterproof Olympus, and the pictures SUCKED!!! So I am not even going to post them... They are awful...
After checking out the Christmas deco and drooling over the first sight of Dooney's, we were off to the Poly...
We arrived early and had drinks at Tambu lounge...
After drinks, we were led to our table, which had a great view of the Holiday Wishes that were about to begin... Still can't believe we left Bertha behind...
Dinner was awesome, we love the food... Service was amazing... And I think Terry polished off the entire plate of bread pudding...
We took the monorail to MK then a bus to Pop... Got unpacked and went to sleep, and couldn't wait for our first full day of vacation!!
