This is too funny about Lanyards...

Boy do I feel stupid! I see these posts mentioning lanyards and I'm thinking...."what the heck is a lanyard"?

So I went to eBay to find out what it is....and low and behold....I have a ton of them! I just worked at the Detroit Auto Show this past week and that's what we have to wear! I just didn't know what they were called.....duh!!!

I'm glad I checked....now I'll know to bring some along for the cruise!

On our last cruise (DIS Cruisear) I made name tags with some clipart for everyone in our DIS group. Sure helped a lot with putting a face to a name.

I LOVE <a href="http://www.primateprojections.com/travel/dcllanyard2.jpg" target="index">my lanyard</A> (older pic <a href="http://www.primateprojections.com/travel/dcllanyard.jpg" target="index">here</A> shows it before the addition of too many pins, and shows the plastic card holder). I also have a Minnie Mouse CM lanyard, but it is the cord type. As far as I am concerned, it is my "<I>cruise necklace</I>"!

I did the same thing.....I was reading these posts and had no idea what they were talking about. I asked my co-workers they had no idea so I looked it up too. Yep, stupid is the word...we all wear them every day, it is manditory in our industry. I wont be wearing one. I cant stand the feeling of it hanging around my neck.....I get that feeling 300 days a year. I'm going to skip it on vacation!!!! LOL

My family is going to come over to the auto show next weekend. We have never gone before and thought we should go being we don't live that far away!

Loved our DCL lanyards too! We never had to worry that the DSs would loose their KTTW card. I liked the vacation necklace comment. We felt that way too. Those DCL colors go with any outfit!
