Catch you all later. We're going to visit a 3D friend. They went on holiday to Vietnam and Cambodia and they want to show and tell. :thumbsup2

Enjoy the rest of your Sunday. 2 work days for me....so I may not catch you all. :sad1:

Someone on the dis boards is behind by 40 pages, news tonight at 11pm

We don't have time to eat at a table most of the time, we are always running around, I get in trouble for even suggesting that we need something to eat, much less if i demanded that we sit somewhere while we eat it! Also, it hurts Fran to get in and out of the car, so she prefers Drive thrus so she doesn't have to go through the in and out of the car and potentially the discomfort of sitting in a restaurant seat that will not be easy to get out of.

ACDSNY, and I read those last sentences, I don't know why she would even consider tendering. If it is too difficult to get out of a car to eat food, why risk her safety to get into a boat on choppy waters, especially if she might not be able to get back out to get back on the boat!

And I thought it was our close proxmity to DLR that made people so rude here!

::yes::

If you look at the tendering picture in my TR , you see how it is done. and those were pretty calm waters.

Well you might laugh....but it was actually filmed and telecast by one of the local TV channels here. :rotfl:

I was more joking because it was a sporting event. Here in the US they will pre-empt ANYTHING if there is a sporting event. Those probably take precedence over the stupid slow speed chases that they constantly cover, cutting into network programming, but they would never cut off a sporting event. Blasphemy! Those advertisers PAY for those spots! :rotfl2:

doesn't your current job give you insurance coverage?

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

That was funny.

But no, they don't offer insurance to anyone but full-time employees.

Welcome to the good ole US of A where people work 29 hour shifts, so that employers can skirt the "full time employee" insurance laws!

I doubt I'll ever get caught up. I went through my work emails to weed out the easy ones and still have over 75 to check out further. Oh Happy Monday!

I think what she wants to see is pictures from the perspective of the person tendering, walking down the stairs and then one of them putting their foot in the boat, and so on and so on. She is probably interested in the angles you need to lift your leg to get it into the boat.

If the boat is moving at all, I highly doubt she could put her leg into the boat without a great deal of pain. What she would need is one of those lifts that they use to get handicapped people into a a swimming pool, although she would never admit that!

There are a few people behind, and I am one of them. I was so proud that I was caught up for a while, but this thread moves to fast for me. I was trying to read, but Connor is literally climbing up me. Hope everyone is well. Got to go check other threads now. I may be subscribed to more than I can handle. At this rate, I will have taken my next trip before I even get anywhere in my current trip report.

The other site I am at I am trying to see if someone has in depth pictures of the tendering process for you. I have to wait for some replies. If I get some I will post the pics so she can see.:thumbsup2

Yes the Kings lost, I will post pics tomorrow

That's too bad. It will be interesting to see how the rest of the evening was.

I posted on your TR and am hoping you or PIO can answer about the golf cart rentals.

OK thought I would post some pictures of our "kitty city" here.

We added a new kitty city. It has retail/restaurant space on the bottom level and lofts on the top much like Long Beach!

I left you an answer over there. It was televised. They played the hawks. We made the boards. I dont know if they showed our face, but the people we were with they put there names up and said friends.

I had alot of fun when I worked and we would get to sit in the boxes.
