Yeah, I actually like Hailey last night. I agree it didn't "stretch" her but it was good (and I really can't stand her either)

My fav was James and I do not like that kind of music, in general, but there is just something special about him.

I hope Lauren stays in ... I'm worried about her. I like her waaaaay more than Haley but I think Lauren may go soon...

Hmmm, Scotty is still my #2, but I hate to say this but I want to see him do something else. Yes, I know he is country and yes as Randy says, if it ain't broke don't fix it , so Scotty is never going to do anything else.

But wouldn't it be cool if he did?

OH, and I really enjoyed Paul last night!!

Paul is so cute. I do like him. Those suits are really crazy though. LOL

James was awesome. I admired him for taking the leap and doing what he loves! I didn't think it was too "metal" for Idol, personally. I love that stuff!

Hi ladies! Hope everyone is doing well today. It's almost Friday!

This week has been full so it feels like it's been 2 weeks in one. You guys ever have weeks like that? Well, yesterday 2 of my friends had their babies! One lives in VA so I can't see them which I HATE but the other is here in GA so we spent the day at the hospital with them since her baby was in the nursery being monitored for breathing. She had a placental abruption so her baby had to be born via emergency c-section 4 weeks early. But the baby is doing beautifully so they are saying they should be able to go home tomorrow which is wonderful! We are going back up to the hospital this afternoon to see them so I'm hoping their baby will be with them so I can hold her. She's so itty bitty compared to Alex now. It's crazy! Oh and we talked yesterday about newborn pictures and she's going to let me try my hand at hers. I can't wait! I ordered a book about photographing children and babies, a new flash for my camera and a few other things. I'm super excited!!!

How exciting about the babies!! How fun about the pictures. That can be a great fun thing for you to do.

I watched it last night. Theme was songs from the movies. Overall I liked it...a few didn't do anything for me.



I really didn't like Casey's song choice ... but he did do well and should be fine this week. I just didn't get it



I hope you can post the pics for us! Newborn pics are so special.

I agree that his song choice was odd but he didn't force his voice like he has the last couple of weeks which I thought was good.

I will ask her permission to post them after I take them so I can share with y'all. Newborn pics are very special! I told her I'm no professional though so if she wants to get them taken elsewhere after I take some then that's fine with me. But you gotta start somewhere, right? I'm thinking if I get good enough and can start collecting the equipment I need then I can maybe do this as a side job.

That would be a fun side job.

I enjoyed Idol last night. Lauren was great...I DO think she sang it better than Miley. But WOW did they ever rip on Miley Cyrus back stage huh?!!! I bet Billy Ray is on a rampage!

I have to admit, Haley did good with the Blondie song. She still drives me batty though.

I thought Lauren was good last night. I am a Blondie fan and frankly I did not like Haley at all.

Update on my friend's baby girl here in GA
She's still struggling to breathe on her own so they are talking about transferring her to a hospital with a better NICU. I haven't heard anything since that update but I will keep you all posted when I find out more. Please be praying.

I got another update
As long as mommy is doing skin to skin with baby, she is breathing great! They say baby is breathing like a premie so it might be a bit before she gets to go home. But mama gets to stay with her free of charge which is wonderful! I'm SO glad they are not being separated and they are not taking baby to a different hospital. All good news so hopefully things will get better quickly and they will be able to take her home soon. Mommy has only gotten 4 hours of sleep in the last 72 hours and is recovering from a c-section so please continue to pray for her too.

No change in baby from last night to this morning. I'm so mad at God right now. They TTC'd for 2 years and had 3 miscarriages and now this. It's not fair! Mom did say she finally took a pain pill and got about 3 more hours of sleep so thank goodness for that. I was really starting to worry about her. I know she's running on pure adrenaline right now.

Baby Update 8:15am: Baby J had a few episodes last night so they're gonna keep a close eye on her today and tonight and if she doesn't improve then they will transfer her to a different hospital with a better NICU. Mom is doing fine. Please keep praying for baby J. They are doing an eco on her today and they will know more around 6pm this evening.

I'm really upset about this and doing my best to hold it together right now. I know it's not my baby but....ugh! It's going to be a long day. I really wish I was at home with Alex today. I miss him like crazy on top of everything else.
