I've never camped at Fort Wilderness, only stayed once at the cabins, but I love everything about FW, visit on every WDW trip, and dream of having an RV and camping there someday. Just wanted to say that I love reading all of your threads, and looking at your pics. It almost makes me feel like I am there!

Welcome to the camping board. The people here are a fun and loving bunch. Get that RV soon and come join a GG at The Fort. :thumbsup2

So can you bring the tag fairy over here? ;)

How do you get to be a platinum Dis member?

:welcome: to the camping forum!

I gotten teary eyed myself listening to Garth Brooks', "The Dance".

Welcome to the camping board! Even tho I post not very often, this is one of my homes on the interwebz of places I visit.

And yeah, I agree the tag fairy does not visit here very often....:confused3

Thats kinda what camping is all about...having fun. They arent the type of people who walk through the corridors of a resort trying to show off their Rolexes and Italian loafers, talking loud enough on their $400 cell phones for you to hear them talking down to an employee of theirs, turning their noses up at the people they are annoying around them....you walk past a camper and chances are that they are gonna trap you into actually saying "HELLO" or at least smiling and nodding! Campers dont try to impress anyone, unless it comes to extravagant modifications theyve made on their tow vehicles that may have saved them 79cents and taken them 3 weeks to accomplish...but for the most part...campers just try to make life pass with a few more smiles and empty beer bottles.

Thanks for the warm welcome! I became a Platinum member when the owner of these boards, Pete, needed sponsors to keep everything up and running. I forget when that was I've been around here for so long.:) As far as the tag fairy goes, my tags are really old, but I still love them, and I still get teary when I hear Garth since "The Dance".

Now that you've introduced your self on the Camping Boards, you need to stop and say "HI" when you see the "Green Mickeys" on your next FORT visit.

I'm not nearly as fun in person as I am on these boards.

Rog is right,,when I go camping I leave my Rolex and Italian loafers at home.
Okay, thats not true,,I hocked them to buy some beer,,but thats another story.
Absolutely,,when ever you see the green Mickey head, stop, say hello, and share a cold one,,,we love meet'n folk from the camping boards.

Who said you were fun on the boards? :lmao: Just kidding of course! I've heard you say before that you're not as fun in person, but you by Ned better be 'cause I booked my next FW trip so it will coincide with your trip. I'm expecting some entertainment.:rolleyes1

I'm entertaining, but it is purely unintentional.

Reminds me of Mamaloya's tag: "I used to be nice to look at, now I'm just fun to watch"! That's gotta be one of the best tags I've seen.
