Enterprise is different but once you give it a chance it really is a good show. Once I watched a few episodes I grew to like it as much as TNG or Voyager. I think I'm only trek fan that didn't care for DS9...
Well I did watch the first two episodes of Next Gen the other day. The one about Farpoint. I didn't realize they met Q in the first episode. Also, I remember the special effects being very cool and was surprised that they looked a little dated. I still enjoyed every minute of the show, but I didn't realize how long ago it was. Also, everyone looked so young! I will be watching the next episode when I can.
As for the MH flatware- I'm still waiting for someone to prove to me that they won't bend when you scoop ice cream.

I just re-watched ST TNG a few months ago and I was a little surprised at how low-tech the effects were compared to how it seemed when it was new. I also noticed that the sound was weird...too much echo or something. In any case, It still stands up as a great show
It is my understanding that the prequel to Star Trek is going to have a sequel. I cannot wait, for I so loved the prequel! How I would almost gnaw off my well almost anything actually to be able to work on that script and anything else that I could. Don't care what it might be... if someone needs coffee, do you want sugar in that? Need your car washed? No problem, I would even be open to rubbing feet, especially if they are attached to a cutie guy! What were we talking about?
It's more of a re-boot of the ST timeline rather than a true prequel, at least that's what JJ Abrams keeps saying.
I'm really looking forward to the next movie too. I wish there was a date for it but nothing concrete just yet! I thought the 2009 Star Trek was pretty great
