Check out this website that my brother just sent to me. I can't believe how many offenders live so close to me. I do recognize some of the names having read about them in the local paper, I just didn't know they were out of jail and living in my neighborhood.

I saw that site before. They are the ones you see on the Predator series aired on 20/20, this site is involved in that

They ask for volunteers and I know I could be one of the people that find them online, I know the lingo the kids use in IM well... and I wish I could help... but I am so freaked by it that I don't think I could take it well. I am glad there are people out there that can handle it. My hats off to them!!!!!!!!

I am now totally grossed out by looking at the mug shots of these people.

I have one who lives just up a block from me, less than half a mile away. He has four convictions!! Yuck. I'll stay far from his place.

Eew! Not one in my neighborhood, thankfully! But there are some creepy looking ones across the main road! Yuck! And quite a few in my city! Surprising the number with crimes against children!

Imagine how I feel. Put in Bridgeport, CT 06604 and check out my neighborhood. I don't have any on my street but I do have a child abuser two streets down.
I take my grandson on walks and I have seen the guy out doing yard work. He always says hello. Now I don't know if I should talk to anyone I see on the streets.

Well, I wouldn't make him mad, that's for sure. If you see him, be civil. But I would avoid going that way if you can avoid it.
