This lady who works with me has been out of work for a while. I did not know what happend but I just heard that it was bad. Today they had a card for her so I wanted to sign it. When I told someone that I did not know what was wrong that person said " her son died "

Anyways I went to sign the card and this is what I wrote " I am very very sorry for your loss. I wish you the very best of luck "

That is a very thoughtful thing to write! Nothing that you can write will erase the pain--all you can do is to show her that you care. She will have a tough road ahead. I can't even imagine.
