So, DBF and I went to a nice restaurant for dinner last night. He got filet mignon. It came with some potato fondant stuff and something else. He tasted the something else and then asked me to taste it. It looked kind of like a root veggie flattened so it layed flat on the plate. It was rather good. There were two of them on his plate. I ate one of them but hadn'd yet had time to eat the rest of the other one. They were yummy!
The waiter came back so I asked him what it was. He told me it was pan seared foie gras. I was like, "ummm, ok, what is that." Then he asks if I ate it yet and I told him I did and it was really good. Then he told me what it was. I was then unable to eat any more of it.
It was good but after I fould it iwas goose liver I couldn't eat anymore. It was good before I knew what it was so why wasn't it good after I knew what it was?
