This is probably the dumbest question ever asked here...

But I need to make sure.

Are there any activities in the parks NOT included in your admission?? I know food and drink is not, and I am sure things like swimming in the fish tanks at Epcot are not. But I just want to make sure ALL rides, shows, etc. are included.

My DH has never been to WDW before . In fact, he has never been to a true theme park, just small local carnivales and stuff, so he is having trouble believing all that stuff is included. I feel pretty sure it is, but since I have not been to Disney in over 10 years I wanted to make 100% sure before I tell him and then I get proved wrong.

Thanks, and sorry again for the newbie question!

The only thing I can think of is the carnival style games they have at The Animal Kingdom in Dinoland. They are those traditional games you get at fares like ring toss and the like, they are pay as you go. Also just popped into my head, amusement arcades I think there are some in the parks (not sure) but they need your cash! All the rides, parades and shows at the parks are included in your admission ticket.

Most everything is included but there are some exceptions. Character meals are extra, but that's kind of included in your meals statement. There are special events where a park may close early and it costs additional $$ to attend the event (Mickeys Christmas party at MK etc.).

You are correct, there are special tours (like swimming in the living seas or behind the scenes tours) that cost extra but admission to the park basically covers everything except food and drinks.

Once you enter the parks, all rides, attractions, shows, fireworks and atmosphere entertainment are included in the admission. Each park does have things that cost extra -- arcade games in the parks, the shooting gallery at Frontierland, and the carnival games in Dinoland at Animal Kingdom, for example -- but 95% of what you'll see and do while in the parks is included in your admission.

As you stated, food and drink is not included (although you'd be surprised how many people think it is!). Lockers, strollers, wheelchairs, and ride photos (the kind that are taken automatically on rides like TOT and Space Mountain) are also extra. Any tours (Keys to the Kingdom, etc) or special experiences (swimming with dolphins) are also extra.

:earsboy:

Dinoland is also the only thing I can think of that isn't included....rides, shows, parades, and fireworks...all included..

What about that shooting arcade at MK -- Doesn't it take $$ to play? What's it called?

See OP - Not a silly question at all!! :flower:

Hi lemondog! Yes, all the rides and shows are included with your tickets. The only thing that would not be included would be the tours that offered in the parks, and stuff like that that you would need to sign up for or make reservations for. The water parks would be an additional cost unless you have that in your ticket package. I hope you have a great time and don't hesitate to ask any more questions if you have them - you'll definelty find your answers here.

The most stupid question is usually along the lines of "What's the weather like in June?"

I can not even begin to imagine the thought process of a person sitting at a computer connected to the internet who would post this and hope that someone gives them an accurate answer at some undetermined future point rather than going to google and typing "weather orlando june" and having the answer in about 20 seconds. :headache:

Cheers.

Frontierland shooting gallery takes 50 cents per gun to play
Video game arcade at Space Mountain takes quarters too. (I think $2 per play)
Duck food at the boat docks are 25 cents a handful.
Mini golf is not free
Disney Quest unless included in your package is not free
The merry go round at downtown disney is not free
Pressed pennies are not free - 2 quarters and 1 penny needed
Caricatures are not free

I think other than that, everything is included.

Just to let you know, since it seems that at least 90% of the tourists don't seem to understand... FastPass is included in your admission (in a word, FREE!).

Have fun!
Jessica
