I think I have read this here..did a brief search, but can't find anything..

Just closed on new contract Yesterday..I am now able to view the contract on my DVC home page, but it says there are no points available for the current UY (and there should be 75)

This is normal right??? It will just take a few days/hours to get the points to catch up with the system??? Right??

Sorry don't want to panic.. and I know you all will have an answer for me!!

Did you purchase a resale or direct from Disney? My new contract from Disney showed the points once the contract was signed... even before closing.

EDIT: Oh, silly question... if there should be 75 points, then it's a resale. Try looking under "View Activity Statement" for the current date and through 2011. That will give you a better picture of what's there.

Yes, it takes a few days for all the points to show up. If it is not correct in a week, then I would call MS to find out.

It does take a few days in order to get your points loaded onto the system. Don't worry - - they will be there soon. Welcome home!

The contracts and points are added to your account by different people and there is a lag time between functions.

If your bought your DVC points resale, it generally takes 5 to 7 days after closing for Disney to get everything current. Enjoy your extra points.

Did your points appear? Just curious we bought resale 160 point contract and it said we had 150 points available every year (but it did say it was 160 allotment in dvc system) I did call and was told by MS that I needed to contact TSS since it was not a dvc problem and that the contract was probably only 150 to begin with (even though it said in the system 160 allotment) I did call TSS in return they called dvc and the next day it was corrected. The points were in fact keyed in incorrectly by dvc. No big deal but I am glad I followed up right away, not sure it would have been corrected automatically.
