Thank you for all your kind comments this "mum" business really puts you through it, doesn't it

I went to sports day yesterday, waved and said hi but little did I know (as I had grandparents staying and other priorities I hadn't been on line for a couple of days) that she had posted an apology on my FB page on Tuesday.
Pleased that I have an apology, I'll admit that it's not the medium I would have used to do it, but nevertheless it has cleared the air to a degree.
Sadly, Poppy has had three restless nights since which is out of character for her, and she didn't want to go to pre-school this morning for the first time ever. This could be due to tiredness, but I did spend quite a while reassuring her that the teachers are there to look after her and to tell them if anybody isn't nice to her. I felt awful making her go, but I felt it was the right thing.
My children are generally very sensitive, but I'm sure she'll get over it once the holidays are underway.
