... but I am so excited cuz I just got back from our district band contest. The judges give you a score on a scale from 1-5, 5 being the worst and 1 being the best. Last year we got a 3 but I am so happy cuz this year we got a 1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was kinda funny because as soon as they posted our score we all started screaming at the top of our lungs. Okay, well i just had to share that since I am so excited!

Thats great!!! Was it the UIL comptition or do yall call it something different? Well at Pre-UIL we got straight 2's(coming from the state honor band 2 was an evil thing-which it still kinda is)well at UIL we got straight 1's!!! and our rival band got straight 1's at Pre-UIL but at UIL got 1,1,2(haha...we're better(even though we already knew that)) Well thats great again!!! Congrats!!

WDWfanatic: it was the OMEA middle school band competition. I don't know what that stands for... I'm guessing Ohio something. I don't know what each judge gave us, I just know that we got a 1 overall.

yeah it probably does mean Ohio...we have a TMEA convention and that means Texas Music Educators Assoication.
