Wow!! I was really trying to make an effort to move on so I invited Julie and her family to dinner. She arrived with two bottles of champagne and said we were going to "celebrate our mom" She then took out a flyer that was preserved in shrink wrap,, it was from my first showing as an artist. Next she brought out my husband's appointment to the bench, and Mike's birth announcement.. Between tears and many glasses of champagne we toasted the woman who loved us and who we loved. I FINALLY get it.. Although I am still sad I kinda feel energized,, Marion WAS a real angel, and I have work to do,, thank you my friends for supporting me.. I am going to be just fine! Although I may have a headache in the morning.. I am going to go teach.. thank you all for supporting me.

I'm glad to hear that you and Julie were able to celebrate such a wonderful person together. You were blessed to have had her in your life from what I have read. She helped you through some incredibly difficult times and you will always hold her close to your heart.

I'm sorry to hear of all the horrible experiences you had as a child. No one should go through what you did but at the very least know that an angel was sent to watch over you.
