KristiKelly said:Also, last year we went back to the room after breakfast to pick up the camera bag before going to the parks. When DH walked in, the maid was using the bathroom (#2 and the room smelled). I don't know who was more embarrassed, DH or the maid. I prefer not having someone come into our room. I don't mind hanging towels to dry, it's not that big of an inconvenience for me UNLIKE waiting for the maid to finish "her business".
OK, I am VERY openminded, but I would be at the front desk like a SHOT if this happened to me. Am I crazy, or is this totally unacceptable??
What would I want? For starters, the Mousekeeping manager to clean my room over again. A strong apology. And at the very least a warning to the mousekeeper who knows perfectly well where the employee restroom is.
My feeling is, if they are in there 'using the facilities', what's to keep them from using my soap? My hairbrush?? My makeup?? My BED????

This would be no biggie for me. A bit embarrassing, but nothing to get in an uproar over.

!

I guess I just have a sick sense of humor, but that would be a hilarious story to tell for many years to come. "How is the mousekeeping at WDW?" "Well, it STINKS, to say the least!"
