Third Party Split Booking

I made a reservation at CBR with Hotels.com for my stay from May 16-23. For some reason Hotels.com made it a split booking (it was the only option left for the room I wanted), so we technically have two reservations, one from May 16-20th and the other from May 20-23. This is fine, I spoke with Hotels.com and they said they called CBR and had them note on our reservation that we would like to keep the same room for the whole week and 'hopefully' we won't have to check in again on the 20th. This is, however, confusing me on a few things:

1. MDE is telling me I have two sets of Magicbands to choose. Do I need to order both sets or do I just leave one blank?

2. Will this affect me when I go to book fastpasses? Will I only be able to choose fastpasses for the second half of my trip 60 days before May 20?

3. Is there anything else I should be concerned about because of this?

Thanks for any help!

1. If you don't want both sets of MBs, you should order one set and then, in the online check-in area of the other reservation, decline the MBs. If you don't decline or customize MBs, it will default to gray ones and you will end up with two sets. You can also just order two sets and each have two sets of interchangeable MBs.

2. Your 60 day FP+ window will open 60 days prior to May 16 for both stays.

3. Other concerns - even if you do online check-in, I would stop by the front desk on your first check-in day to make sure they know you have a continuing reservation and would like to stay in the same room. They will advise you of their procedures for check-in/check-out day in terms of when they can tell you if you can stay in the original room.

Ok great! We’re from Canada so we’ll have to pick up our magic bands at the front desk anyway. I’ll be sure to ask about it then. Thanks for the help!
