SO i have my ressies....tickets....everything is linked up on MDE.

I think I want to cancel it and go old school.

Trip is first 2 weeks of December.

Frankly, the DGF loves Soarin, so being able to go on it twice (via FP) in the same day is a nice thing. FP+ will only let me make on FP time for it on a single day. (As well as other rides)

Not to mention, I have no interest in planning on certain parks on certain days.

Thoughts?

And, do I have to cancel the Magic Bands as well?

The fast pass return times for soarin, test track, and toy story are at 5pm when the parks open and are gone by 9:30 for the day. So I would keep it, schedule a guaranteed time slot for major attractions and wait in line for a 2nd ride.

I don't see what benefit canceling MDE will get you. Now you get at least one guaranteed FP on Soarin'. Cancel and you will have 0 guaranteed FPs -- and probably will only be able to manage 1 Soarin' FP in a single day, with the FP return windows being so late, even getting the FP very early in the day.

You know, you can still pull old school FPs even if you have a magic band, right? You just use your KTTW card or your physical ticket.

pretty sure you can kept the magic bands even if you cancel your fp+ - because it works as at ticke to the parks plus your hotel room key - and anything you wish to charge.

that say also would not cancel the fp+ - at least you have one good at soarin'

can't you go back to epcot on another day and do soarin' again then. you do have the PAP or AP or park hoppers?

I did not realize the return times would be so late.

I will keep them as is and guess a lot. The thing is, December is also so iffy...you can not really plan a pool day, or water park day, but if one comes up...

Thanks for the input everyone.
