Thinking of an Add-on

I have been thinking of an add-on contract. We own 150 points at BWV. Was thinking of a resale contract at OKW, but have recently started looking at Vero Beach because of the price (however, maintenence costs are higher). IN the last 15 years, I have never had a problem getting a resort at 7 months and am just curious if I will regret not having the extra points at WDW.

Any thoughts?

Simple question to me would be how often you would visit Vero Beach? Is it enough to justify having it as a home resort?

We would not be visiting Vero Beach except for maybe a couple of times. But I own at Boardwalk, but almost always stay at Beach Club utilizing 7 month window. Just considering because the difference in the cost per point is pretty significant.

Unless you anticipate owning this vero contract for less than ten years, the total costs there will be higher than SSR for adding on. If you don't care about where you will be staying, SSR is the most financially efficient. It also happens to be a very nice resort...

Also, SSR is 105 miles closer to WDW than is vero, if you want to stay at WDW during a peak season when everything fills.

Another vote for SSR if you never have problems getting what you want at 7 months and expect to never have any problems.

Great point. I think I would rather own at OKW over SSR though. We love staying at OKW during Christmas time. The rooms are so large compared to the other resorts. I may rethink and want go ahead and put more money out front now to go with OKW.
