Thinking Ahead- One Time Use Points

It looks like we might end up 1-2 points short for a trip next year, if other trips pan out. I have a question about the one time use points. I know they can only be purchased by phone at the 7 month window. My question is this: If I am booking 5 nights, can I book the first 4 online an hour before the phones open, then call to add the last night with one time use points? Or will I have to wait until the 7 month window for that specific night? The resort we are hoping to book is a hard one to get, and I would love the hour jump if I can get it.

Anyone? Thoughts, experiences?

You can book up to 7 nights right when the booking window opens, so there should be no reason why you couldn't call to extend the reservation 1 night and purchase the one-time-use vacation points.

Personally I would book the four nights and call to add on the extra day. If they cannot add on you still have the four days.

Thank you both for answering! That will be my plan- book the 4 online, then call at 9 to add extra night. If it doesn't work, oh well, I have the 4 at least.
