after me and my son goes to wdw and dcl we have another 2-3 days to kill. how far is universal from wdw and i have a 4 yr old who love nickeloden will it be good for him. and since it is just me and him would it be better to wait until hes older to go on more attractions or are there plenty of things for us to do? thanks

You will find plenty to do at UO and in Seuss landing at IOA not sure of distances from Disney though also don't forget u have SW as well:jester:

I have 3 year old twins and a 6 year old and they LOVE Universal! They kept singing that one fish red fish.... song way after we got home last time and they still talk about the fish ride and the cat in the hat ride being their favorites from their whole trip. We loved Nick studios! We love that place so much we decided to get annual passes this year!

How tall is your son? I'm bringing my 4yo to WDW and Universal next month. He loves Universal (doesn't remember WDW) and there are plenty of things for him to do there. He is now over 42" tall and can ride most of the rides, except for the big coasters, which he wouldn't do, anyway.

There is a lot to do! :)

Over at Universal Studios, you have Kidzone, which is obviously a kid-oriented area. It features a kiddy coaster, a couple different play areas, and the beloved ET ride. Also nearby is Animal Planet Live, which is a show that has different animals. It's a cute show.

Speaking of shows, the Ghostbusters Show is pretty much kid friendly. In reality, the show isn't directed towards the kids (kids wouldn't know of the music from the 80s and 90s). Not that it's inappropriate...they even ask the KIDS where the ghost is.

However, you will just need to stay clear from Beetlejuice Graveyard Revue and Horror Makeup Show (2 of my favorites after GBs though.). They give a PG-13 rating.

Also, there is the Nick Studios. I haven't done this in... 7+ years, so things may be working a bit differently now. I believe there are a few different showtimes. Jimmy Neutron is a neat Nicktoon-based simulator. They do offer stationary seating.

There's also various character meet and greets, which your son may enjoy.

At IOA, Seuss Landing offers a bit. There is a water play area called, "If I ran the zoon" which is quite neat (I loved this, back when I was in 6th grade...but kids of all ages played there). Cat in the Hat is a cute ride which tells the story of the Cat in the Hat. There's the "One Fish, Two Fish, red Fish, Blue Fish" which momof3disneyholics mentioned. It's similar to Dumbo, but with ocassional squirts of water. There's also a carousel, with Seuss characters in place of horses.

Jurassic Park area also has a play area.

Like T&B has mentioned, a lot will depend on your child's height. There are some other rides your child might like, but only if he makes the requirements.

HTH!

You will love it there. There is so much to do for all the age groups!
