Thinking about purchashing a TiW

We are buying AP's this year and will spend 10 days in May and another week in October. I have a few of questions- is it good for 20% at all food venues in Disney? Including TRex (I am asking this because I know it is not Disney owned)? Counter service? how about snacks? I also have a fantasmic dinner package booked at Mama Melrose, is that excluded?

All Ears has a lot of errors, but here is the link for TIW (formerly DDE). It's pretty accurate as it has new restaurants on there that were just added to TIW a few weeks ago: http://allears.net/din/dde.htm

Quick answers to your questions:

-It is not accepted at T-Rex, nor Rainforest Cafe

-Is good at most TS restaurants (need to check the list, as some non-Disney owned restaurants at Downtown Disney and Epcot do not participate)

-Is good at several CS locations (Port Orleans, Values and Animal Kingdom)

-Is not accepted at snack locations, but you can use it for juice snacks and dessert snacks while dining at a TS restaurant (eg. you can order an extra bottle of water during dinner to carry around parks. You are subject to an auto 18% gratuity though)

- We used it for Fantasmic a few years back, but I'm not sure if it's still available, so I'll let someone else answer that one for you

It's also good at some places where the Disney Dining Plan is NOT accepted, such as Fulton's Crabhouse and some places in the Swan and Dolphin Resorts!

To confirm, TIW is now accepted at bluezoo, Shula's and Il Mulino (I was there last week and used it at all three places).

No, you can't use it on a Fantasmic package.

It's accepted ONLY at the following counter service: the 4 value resort food courts, POFQ food court, Artists Palette at SSR, and Flame Tree, Restaurantosaurus and Pizzafari at the Animal Kingdom Park.

There are a lot more non-Disney restaurants at DTD and the Swan/Dolphin that started accepting TIW this year; unfortunately T-Rex is not one of them.
