Thinking about getting rid of cable

I'm clueless when it comes to Netflix and Hulu. Can we get current HBO and Showtime series through these or can we only get them through cable? What about Hallmark and Disney channels? Is there a site where I can find out which service offers which channels or tv programs? Thanks!
