We are booked at Pop for May 2020 in a preferred room - 2 adults and a 17 yo boy. I just got a pin for Spring Back, it would cost about $400 more to switch to CB from Pop. Or just save the $381. If a free dining comes out for my dates, I am thinking about BC. We have never stayed at a Moderate, once in a Family Suite at a ASMu, and have stayed at AKL and WL. Convince me if CB is a good upgrade for us, or if we should stay at the value. And CB or Pop to BC "if" we get free dining. Thanks in advance :)

It depends on if that 381 is a big deal for you. That can buy a lot of snacks/food/souvenirs. We were just at Pop back in September and I really enjoyed it. The rooms are really nice after the refurb. We also had probably the best bus experience here that we've had at any other Disney resort. And now that the Skyliner is up and running, you can use that for transportation to 2 parks!

I felt like the room at Pop had a good amount of space and there were a LOT of USB ports. There was quite a bit of storage too. If having a hot tub at the pool is a must for you, then you will need to switch to CBR, as Pop doesn't have those.

The other thing I liked about Pop is that it is so close to AoA. We went to AoA a couple of times to eat, just for some additional variety. We also took the bus from the parks back to AoA if the Pop bus was not at the bus stop when we got there and the AoA on was.

Now...If you can get free dining and switch to BC, I would vote for that! I love staying in the Boardwalk resorts as I just love that area.
