Thinking about an upgrade

As you might know, we have booked from January 2nd for a 6 night / 7 day stay at the NPC.

I am thinking now about an upgrade to the Compass Club because the park will be close at 19.00 in the evening and it could be nice to go to the private lounge which will be open until 22.00.

What will you get there? Is it worth an upgrade?

On the other hand I could use the money for buying us drinks or souvenirs instead spending it on an upgrade.

I also like the option of an own breakfast lounge with no time slots to choose. But we always get a VIP breakfsat card when we stayed at the SQL for 6 nights/7 days and perhaps this could be possible at the NPC too.

The upgrade would cost us (4 persons) a total of 500,- € which is a lot of money.

I am just dreaming.....:disrocks:

To put it another way, how much would you spend for (soft) drinks and snacks for a 7 days?

500€ for 4 guests staying 7 days makes it 17€ per person per day… which I believe is suddenly becoming a reasonable amount of money!

Personally, I wouldn't upgrade and i'd use the money for extra treats in the parks, and anything left over can always go towards the next trip! :thumbsup2

You will also get 1 fastpass per person per day. I think this would be worth it at a busy time, but imagine the week you are there will get quieter by the day.

We've just come back from CC. The breakfast is really good and as you say, you just walk in. there is coffee and soft drinks on, all day, and there are pastries etc at about 4/5 O'clock, but in reality with the shortened park hours you probably won't use it as you will be in the park (but looking at the closure list for Jan last night, that might not be true). There are no alcoholic drinks, you get those from Captains Quarters just across the corridor. The check in is much better and valet parking is free. On balance I wouldn't say it was truly a value option, as until March you get breakfast anyway. If you are imagining its the same as Concierge level in WDW, its not, as the times for snacks etc are much more restrictive in DLP. You get a hotel fastpass anyway, Compass Club doesn't give you the extra one, its only the suites.

Hope this helps.

You only get a hotel fastpass in Disneyland Hotel. In the other hotels its with the club level rooms (Compass Club, Golden Forest etc)
