I bet you are at least partially correct, and maybe fully correct. My wife did it and was much worse than I, but it seemed she had a much worse order of states being released. It is probably easier if you get a few "key" states early on.

And yes - if you start out with some of the interior states, it's very hard, while states with obvious borders (such as FL, MA, ME, CA, MI, WI) and really any along the coast or border are easier to place first, then you can line up the interior states against them. If you start out with CO or WV, it's really hard.

I'm hovering around the same, but it's mostly the spelling for me. While I do miss a lot that I shouldn't, if I wasn't getting hung up on stupid spelling mistakes, I might get to some of those.

Good news for me, I have a 54% chance of making it thru a zombie attack though.
