Think twice before ordering Disney inflatables!

Last year we ordered a Nightmare Before Christmas inflatable, half price after Christmas, from disneydirect.com. We got it out yesterday. It is a piece of trash. We have quite a few other inflatables just bought at discount stores (for a lot less) and they are infinitely better.

The stakes (to keep it in the ground) are light weight plasic, rather than metal. The fan is not strong enough to keep Jack's head up. And the light is so dim, it is not "illuminated" at all.

Don't waste your money on the inflatables that disneydirect.com sells!

I have been completely disappointed with Disney merchandise the last few years. Remember when they had those wonderful animated figures for Christmas? Mickey and Minnie in their victorian velvet Christmas outfits, Goofy wrapped up in Christmas lights, etc. Now when I get the catalog, I throw it in the trash - everything they sell is overpriced and looks crappy.

I'm sorry to say that very little is worth buying anymore. We have so many things from years past, but as I look back, I think the quality came from the people who made it and slapped Disney's name on it. These days it would seem those are totally different manufacturers. Ones that have much lower quality products to start with. Clothes, electronics, even the collectables.

Oh well, more money for other things.

We bought a Mickey one at Walgreen's last year after Christmas, and his head won't stay up! It does have the metal stakes though.
