Think there's any availability in October?

DH just mentioned this morning that maybe we could go to Orlando in October! Of course, MS is closed today..

Anyone try recently for October reservations? Of course, I know we'd have to be flexible in what we'd take....

I've heard on another thread that there aren't any studios, but I don't know what the 1 and 2 bedroom situation was like - and you never know who will cancel at the last minute anyway!

I recently booked a 1 bdrm in Oct. I believe there are more problems in Nov. I was told for the month of Oct there were plenty at SSR and OKW. I hope that helps.

We have gone down in the fall a few times (for the PGA tour stop at Disney) and have had no problem booking rooms. Because of the food & wine festival I think the Epcot resorts are tough - but you should be able to find some availability.

I called last week and got Sunday the 2nd through the 6th in a studio right away. The 7th I got a couple of days later. The CM said that there were plenty of one bedrooms though..

i'd call and give it a try, as long as your not picky. I called short notice last year and was able to get a studio at WLV for a few nites. you could always book a room at one of the resorts, and go on a waitless for a studio, if it comes thru cancel your room - 5 days no penalty- if it dosen't your staying at a resort, it may be a nice change for you.

We just booked last week and got a studio at SSR for 10/16-10/21.

Well here's a thought!
I was going to BWV Oct10-14. But just now I booked an 18 night Panama Canal cruise (couldn't resist!).

My BWV is for a studio, 2 nights standard and 2 nights Boardwalk.
I think it might be possible to transfer the ressie....
Let me know if this helps. I won't cancel my BWV for awhile yet.

Thanks all for the input! OKW would be fine for us. Our plans are still up in the air.. DH still thinking about how he wants to use the rest of his vacation time

(he actually has to think about it...to me, it's obvious!)
