Think the 2021 SW races will use the same theme as 2020?

Since this year was supposed to be the 5th anniversary and they had all the designs ready to go, does anyone think they’ll just use the same merch and medals and just change the date for next year while still celebrating the 5th anniversary?

Probably though honestly I didn;t like the kessell medal this year.

I think that's what they'll do.

I feel that way about the 5K medal this year. If they hold the races next year and I can run them, I will not be able to run the 5K anyways so at least I would know that I'm not missing out on a medal I really loved because my schedule will not allow it.

I understand where you’re coming from but for those of us who love Ahsoka Tano and Maul, those 5k medals are awesome!

I completely understand. I watch and enjoy The Clone Wars. I just love the movies on an entirely different level than the animated series. I had also hoped that with the Skywalker saga completed now, that for 2020 each race medal would reflect a different trilogy. So had the 5K medal been Maul and Qui-Gon and/or Obi-Wan I would have felt differently about it.

But I also understand why some would be thrilled for that theme. I felt the same way when my first Kessel Run back in 2017 had the Death Star on the Dark Side Challenge medal. So in the 40th anniversary of Star Wars, I had a race medal reflecting the medal of honor from the Battle of Yavin (Light Side Half at Disneyland), the Death Star (Dark Side Challenge), and the Millennium Falcon for the Kessel Run.

I wonder if they will rethink the design since everyone pretty much hated it and hence they will make a new one - crossing fingers.
