Wondering if the Cinco de Mayo celebration will make it better or worse at D'land today? :confused3

Probably won't make a difference either way. Schools are in session and nobody gets Cinco de Mayo off from work. Bars, mexican restaurants, etc. are busier than usual, but I've never heard of theme parks being busy because of this. Go, have fun :moped:

The last two were very busy, but DL had some major stuff going on both days. (2004 TOT opening and 50th announcements, 2005 50th kickoff). I think today would be a normal Friday.

How would you describe a normal Friday in May? We arrive noonish this coming Friday the 12th and aren't sure what to do that afternoon/evening. We will have the option of going into either park, but we're not sure if it will be a madhouse or not at either one. I would assume it wouldn't at DCA at least. But I'm not certain since we haven't been for a couple of years.

Thanks

Normal would be relatively quiet in the morning and getting more crowded as the day went on, possibly being packed by the 7:00 parade time, as the local AP holders get off work and come in and vacationers come in. But that's the Friday leading into Mother's Day and I would predict larger crowds earlier in the day.
